Switalskis welcomes 14 new trainee solicitors this month, its largest intake to date, reflecting the firm’s ongoing investment in developing talent. Of the 14 trainees, 13 are moving from internal positions, underlining Switalskis’ commitment to providing clear career development opportunities from within. In addition, one trainee joins from an external practice, where they previously worked as a paralegal.

Joining the Clinical Negligence team are Callum Badger , Rebecca Grayson , Catherine Ross and Chantelle Williams . Liam Giles and Shareen Munir begin their training in the Wills and Probate team while Josie Clarke , Robert Davies and Rhiannon Moore join the Court of Protection team.

Alice Ewart and Alesha Kang take seats in the Care team, Joe Swan joins the Child Abuse Litigation team, Taylor McDonald begins with the Family Law team and Aleksandar Cvetkov takes his first seat with the Commercial Property team.

Earlier this year Caitlin Nunn and Ellie Dawson also joined the programme. Caitlin currently sits in the Personal Injury team and Ellie sits within the Abuse Litigation team.

Switalskis’ bespoke programme is designed to give trainees experience across a range of legal disciplines, helping them to develop a broad understanding of the profession before specialising.

Amy Clowrey , director and solicitor in Switalskis Solicitors’ Abuse Litigation department, and the firm’s dedicated training principal, says:

“As the business has grown, so has our training programme. This year marks our largest cohort yet, bringing the total number of trainees to 26. I’m very grateful for the support of our fantastic talent manager, Jaron Shahidi, who plays a key role in helping our trainees thrive.

I believe our dedicated programme is one of the best of its kind, combining internal training, buddy systems, regular meetings with senior team members, and social events. Our aim is to invest in our people and to support the development of well-rounded lawyers who feel valued.”

The business is currently taking internal applicants only for its January 2026 intake. Further details on the qualifying solicitors’ programme can be found at here .
