On Thursday 11th June 2026, Bawan Hawre was found guilty of child sexual exploitation offences following a four-week trial at Sheffield Crown Court. The second defendant, Sharam Muhamadi, was also found guilty of multiple modern slavery offences.

Alice joined Switalskis in 2022 and worked in the Care department, firstly as a paralegal before becoming a Graduate Solicitor Apprentice in 2025.
Alice has several years legal experience in representing client’s during the Public Law Outline (PLO) process, attending court hearings to support clients, and preparing statements and court applications.
