Injured in an accident?

If you have been injured in an accident that was not your fault, then you may be able to claim compensation.

You’re probably going to have many questions about what options you have and what would be involved if you decide to claim compensation for your injury. Our team of friendly professionals understand this and will be more than happy to answer all your questions and guide you through the entire process. Our specialist team deals with:

  • Motorbike Accidents
  • Accidents at Work
  • Road Traffic Accidents
  • Occupational Illness (Asbestosis, HAVs, Noise Induced Hearing Loss)
  • Accidents Abroad (Package Holidays)
  • Accidents caused by Faulty or Defective Products
  • Public Liability Accidents

The above list is not exhaustive and there may be other instances we can help with.

Our expert personal injury team has a wealth of knowledge and experience in dealing with a very wide range of personal injury claims. Many of the team belong to the Association of Personal Injury Lawyers and some hold the Law Society's Personal Injury accreditation.

What else can you help with?

We can help you establish the circumstances that caused your injuries and advise how best to proceed.

Besides helping you to claim compensation for your injury, we will also make sure that you are seen by the right medical expert to advise on the treatment or support that you need to make a good recovery.

You may experience a combination of the following:

  • An inability to work - or at least to do the same job as before - which can significantly affect your income
  • Additional costs such as rehabilitation, treatment, equipment and adaptations to your home
  • Significant distress and inconvenience as a result of the changes you need to make to your life

How can legal advice help me?

Coming to terms with your injury can be distressing and it can be hard to know where to begin. As well as looking at the facts of your case, it's important to assess thoroughly how your life will be affected by your injuries.

As specialists in personal injury claims, we can help you through this process to ensure that you are fully and fairly compensated for your injuries. It's very easy to underestimate the additional costs and the different ways that your life may change after being injured.

How is legal advice funded?

There are various options of funding for claims. Many of our cases are funded using Conditional Fee Agreements, (also called a ‘No Win No Fee’ agreement). Under this agreement, if you do not win your claim, you pay nothing. If you have been the victim of a criminal assault, you may be able to claim under the CICA (Criminal Injuries Compensation Authority) scheme. Our solicitors can review and discuss your funding options and help you decide the best route to take - without obligation.

How can Switalskis help me?

No two injuries are the same, and we believe in fully understanding your circumstances and future needs first. Only then can we help you understand the compensation you will need to cover your costs now and in the future. It's vital to plan your future carefully before claiming for compensation.

As experienced specialists in some of the most complex personal injury claims, we have a very strong record of helping clients move forward and securing interim payments to help get prompt treatment and rehabilitation.
