Sarah is deputy head of the medical negligence department and leads a specialist team that focus on complex, high value brain injury cases and unusual catastrophic injury claims. These are often the most challenging legal claims that other lawyers invariably turn down as being too challenging or complex.

With over 28 years of deep sector experience Sarah's tenacity and perseverance make her extremely proactive in helping her clients achieve swift access to justice and achieve rehabilitation and compensation.

Notable client settlements over the last 12 months include:

  • Neurological dysfunction as a consequence of damage to brain stem and left cerebral cortex – settlement terms were £1m
  • Following a premature birth, failure to give steroids leading to respiratory distress syndrome and intraventricular hemorrhage leading to permanent brain damage – settlement of £10m plus on full valuation.
  • Failure to adequately control hypertension leading to subarachnoid hemorrhage – settlement terms were lump sum of £1,787,500.00 and periodical payments of £65,000 per year for four years, then £132,500 per year for our clients' lifetime.

Sarah has been accredited with Senior Litigator status by the Association of Personal Injury Lawyers (APIL) and has been a member of the Law Society’s Clinical Negligence Panel since 2010.
