A Rhyl man has been found guilty of offences relating to the sexual exploitation of a teenage girl following a trial at Caernarfon Crown Court in Wales.

Mustafa Iqbal, 43, of Denbighshire, was convicted of forcing a 16-year-old girl to engage in sexual activity in exchange for crack cocaine and cannabis. He was also found guilty of breaching a Slavery and Trafficking Risk Order by contacting a 17-year-old girl when prohibited from doing so.

Iqbal faces a number of additional charges, including the alleged rape of two teenage girls aged 15 and 16, and the alleged sexual assault of a 14-year-old girl. He denies these allegations.

The case forms part of a wider child sexual exploitation prosecution involving four men at the centre of an alleged grooming gang, all of whom have pleaded not guilty to the offences they are charged with.

The trial at Caernarfon Crown Court remains ongoing.
