Hannah joined Switalskis in April 2026. She is a Paralegal in the Abuse team, specialising in cases involving sexual abuse, child abuse, and state failings. She has a particular interest in representing bereaved families at inquests, especially those involving allegations of wrongful death arising from failures by state bodies.
She has considerable experience assisting families through complex inquests relating to deaths involving:

She has worked on multiple Article 2 inquests and other highly complicated inquest hearings involving overlapping safeguarding failures, multi-agency involvement, a variety of experts and extensive disclosure.
She has also been involved in assisting with submissions on the coroner’s powers to issue Prevention of Future Death (Regulation 28) Reports, particularly in cases where repeated patterns of neglect or abuse have arisen. Many of the inquest cases Hannah assists in involve complex mental health issues, domestic abuse, sexual abuse, or vulnerable individuals known to multiple state agencies. Her combined inquest experience and subsequent work on specialist civil claims involving abuse, neglect, and homicide enables her to provide highly informed, trauma-focused support to clients and to build strong, well-evidenced civil claims.
In addition to her role assisting on inquest cases, Hannah also assists on a complex caseload of abuse matters involving claims against a wide range of defendants. These include cases against:
Hannah is known for her warm, client-focused approach and her commitment to going above and beyond for the individuals and families she represents.
Before joining Switalskis, Hannah spent four years in London-based law firms that specialise in Abuse Claims representing survivors of abuse and families at inquests. Prior to that, she worked at a firm specialising exclusively in abuse litigation.
She has extensive experience in this field and has contributed to a range of podcasts, media commentary, and legal publications including an article in the Solicitor’s Journal.
Hannah holds an undergraduate Law degree (LLB) and a master’s degree (LLM) in Legal Practice, as well as SQE 1. She is currently working towards completing SQE 2 and aims to qualify as a solicitor in 2026.
