Affia is currently working in our Child Abuse Compensation Claims department as she develops her legal career. She supports the child abuse team in helping with compensation claims, primarily where they have been sexually abused.

Affia has worked in law as a Paralegal for 1 year, in various departments, including working as a paralegal for personal injury and wills and probate.

Her responsibilities include dealing with all CICA (Criminal Injuries Compensation Authority) Claims within the department.

EXPERIENCE

Affia is a keen learner, recently completing an Undergraduate Degree in Criminology at the University of Manchester in 2024. She then went on to complete a Masters in Law, leading her to her role as a Paralegal.

Affia has experience in multiple areas of law and joined Switalskis in 2026. From completing pro bono work within both family and immigration law, and working as a Paralegal in personal injury claims and probate, Affia is now excited to pursue and develop her career in the Child Abuse Department.
