Why choose Switalskis?
No matter what you may be going through, we’ve probably helped someone with very similar circumstances before. We’ve helped clients with issues like child abduction, forced marriages and complex childcare. These matters can be sensitive and sometimes worrying. We believe that the way you feel at the end of the process is just as important as the quality of the advice you receive and will treat each unique case with care.
Our specialist divorce lawyers also have experience in complicated cases. Many of our Family Law solicitors belong to Resolution – an organisation committed to finding ways to divorce constructively and amicably for all parties. We also offer Family Mediation and practice Collaborative Law, all of which underlines our commitment to a less confrontational approach.
All you need to do is contact us and we’ll listen to your circumstances and explain the best course of action to you. Your initial enquiry will cost you nothing and before you’re charged anything we’ll fully explain our fees and what you will get in return.
Whether you’re ready to speak now or simply want to arrange a time in the near future when you can speak more freely, get in touch and we can help you get the process started to receive your family law advice. Many clients find legal processes daunting at the outset, but the first phone call or meeting can do a lot to put you at ease.
Our Family Law Specialists
What will it cost me?
No two clients are the same, so we really do need to speak to you to understand your circumstances. We’ll then look to agree an approach with you as quickly and easily as we can and let you know the costs up front.
It’s in our interests as well as yours to get to this point as quickly as possible, so that you can make a simple, informed decision. We keep our fees transparent and simple, so that you can stay in control of your costs throughout your case.
Our aim is always to let you know the full costs up front and explore your circumstances fully to ensure that this cost is accurate. If circumstances change and additional costs are needed, we will explain these to you and get your agreement before we proceed.
Most Family Law matters will now need to be paid for by you. Public funding through Legal Aid is now only available in very specific circumstances, even if you are suffering financial hardship. If you need Family Law advice, the chances are you will need to keep an eye on costs so you can plan for the future. That’s why we aim to keep our fees as competitive as possible, without compromising on the service you receive.
