The arrest of an 83-year-old man in connection with historical child sexual abuse allegations at Tong Park Remand Home marks another significant development in the ongoing investigation of abuse claims relating to former residential institutions.

West Yorkshire Police confirmed that the man was arrested in the Keighley area following reports from two individuals who alleged they were abused while residents at the Bradford facility during the 1970s and 1980s. He is currently being questioned on suspicion of rape, indecent assault and child cruelty.
