The fees cover only the legal costs and don't include third-party expenses ("disbursements") or any applicable taxes. Disbursements cover items such as conveyancing searches and registration fees and will vary depending on your circumstances and the type of transaction. Stamp Duty Land Tax (SDLT) (payable to HMRC) may also be payable in addition to your legal costs and disbursements. Our conveyancing services are "fixed-fee", meaning we do not charge based on the time it takes us to do the work, i.e. it is not charged at an hourly rate.
