Lauren is a highly skilled domestic abuse and child care solicitor. Based in the Switalskis Huddersfield office, Lauren is dedicated to providing honest, straight forward advice and effective legal support. She advises survivors of domestic abuse and parents who are involved in court proceedings.  

Lauren specialises in: 

•  Representing parents whose children are made subject of care proceedings by the Local Authority.
• Securing injunctions on behalf of victims of domestic violence which include non-molestation and occupation orders. Injunctions can be provided on an urgent basis, so if you feel you need support urgently, please do not hesitate to give Lauren a call.
• Parental disputes about Child Arrangements, including Prohibited Steps Orders and Specific Issue Orders.
• Providing advice and support on applications for Special Guardianship Orders where a child is to be cared for by a family member or close friend.
• Applications for Legal Aid. If you are unable to cover the cost of legal representation, Lauren is able to expertly advise you on whether you would qualify for Legal Aid and the documents you would be required to provide to the Legal Aid Agency in support of your application.

Lauren is a member of the Huddersfield Law Society.
