Switalskis celebrates triple honours at Yorkshire Legal Awards

On Thursday, 9th October 2025, Switalskis were recognised for its outstanding client service after winning a rare hat-trick of awards at this year’s Yorkshire Legal Awards.

We were delighted to collect awards in residential property , criminal law for the second consecutive year and wills & probate categories.

Our conveyancing teams provide personalised advice through buying and selling homes, while our wills and probate team handles estate planning and administration, managing sensitive matters with care and professionalism. In criminal law, our back-to-back wins reflect our teams work across both general and serious crime cases. Our criminal law team specialise in a range of criminal cases, with expertise in representing vulnerable defendants and those requiring psychiatric assessment.

Criminal Law

We are proud to have been recognised for the Criminal Law Award , a testament to our team ’s dedication and excellence. This achievement is particularly meaningful following Sarah’s success in the Peter Sullivan Appeal , which exemplified her exceptional skill and commitment. The judges commended our unwavering focus on client care, innovative approaches to legal services and our positive impact on the wider community. Our submission also reflected strong third-party recognition, further reinforcing our well-earned win.

Private Client

The Private Client Award showcased the exceptional work of our Wills and Probate team. Competing against an outstanding number of entrants, we are truly delighted to have achieved this win. The judges were impressed with our ability to go above and beyond in our work, highlighting our dedication, expertise and commitment to delivering outstanding results.

Residential Property

Judges recognised us as the clear winner in this category, commending our exceptional professionalism, consistently high standards and meaningful impact within the residential property sector. A huge congratulations to our Residential and New Build Conveyancing teams for this well-deserved achievement. Their commitment, collaboration and unwavering focus on client satisfaction continue to set a benchmark of quality within the industry.
