The firm, which works with clients across the UK from offices in Yorkshire, North East Lincolnshire and London, has appointed Georgina Peckett , Katrina Elsey and Julie Guest to its board this month. The promotions demonstrate continued investment in areas where Switalskis has particular strength including medical negligence and serious injury work, with a focus on its people and culture.
Georgina Peckett joined Switalskis’ large and successful medical negligence team in 2016. A highly experienced solicitor of over 20 years, she specialises in complex, high-value medical negligence claims , acting for individuals and families affected by life-changing injuries. Georgina has been an accredited Law Society Clinical Negligence Panel member since 2011 and is ranked in Chambers UK. As director, Georgina is committed to nurturing talent and contributing to the management and success of the team, strengthening the firm’s reputation for delivering exceptional client care.
Katrina Elsey, who has 24 years’ experience of working in serious injury law , has risen through the ranks since she joined Switalskis in 2021 following the firm’s acquisition of Atherton Godfrey. She is recognised for her tireless support for clients who have suffered serious and life-altering injuries. As director, Katrina will focus on driving the growth of the firm, strengthening the team and ensuring it continues to deliver exceptional service. She combines extensive legal expertise with a personal and hands-on way of working with clients.
Julie Guest joined Switalskis in 2022 to establish its people function.
