We’re excited to announce our Autumn 2024 Qualifying Solicitor Programme for aspiring solicitors.

This is an excellent opportunity to kickstart your legal career within our award-winning law firm, working across various specialities including medical negligence, property, family, wills & probate and more.

Group of happy young people

Two routes are available, both giving you the opportunity to build and develop the theoretical and practical legal knowledge and experience needed to become a qualified solicitor. Our Qualifying Solicitors Programme (QSP) is the perfect blend of hands-on practical experience and on-the-job learning.

Training Contract

Our QSP includes a traditional 2-year training contract. As a trainee solicitor you’ll undertake work for various departments and learn all aspects of work within that department. You’ll be supported by senior members and manage a varied case load of client cases.

Essential Criteria

Whilst a Law degree isn’t essential, you must have completed either:

The Legal Practice Course (“LPC) (or Master of Law and Practice which incorporates the LPC)

or

Part 1 of the Solicitors Qualification Examination (“SQE”).

Graduate Solicitor Apprenticeship

As part of our QSP, we also offer a Graduate Solicitor Apprenticeship. These legal apprenticeships are challenging the industry norm and opening an alternative route into a career in law. Our 32-month apprenticeship programme will support you through to qualification with four days of work-based experience and one day of classroom study every week. The programme culminates in the completion of the Solicitors Qualifying Exams (SQE1 and SQE2).

 Essential Criteria

You will need either:

A law degree (2:1 or above)

or

A non-law degree (2:1 or above) and Graduate Diploma in Law

How to apply

You will need to submit a copy of your CV and a supporting statement (no longer than 500 words) explaining your suitability for the role.
