This operation is being run jointly by South Yorkshire Police and the National Crime Agency and is being overseen by the Independent Office of Police Conduct.

Over the last few years we have worked tirelessly with our clients to ensure that officers of SYP are held accountable for crimes against vulnerable children in Rotherham. We are incredibly proud of our brave clients who have come forward about these hideous offences and hope that they now obtain the justice that they deserve.

We will be continuing to support them throughout the investigation. Switalskis have been dealing with civil claims against Rotherham Metropolitan Borough Council and South Yorkshire Police for over a decade, supporting approximately 200 women in securing compensation and justice for the failures of the authorities in protecting them from avoidable abuse and trauma.

If you or someone you know has suffered abuse at the hands of a police officer in South Yorkshire, or abuse by a third party which was facilitated by a police officer, please get in touch with amy.clowrey@switalskis.com or call 01924 882000.

You don't have to report the matter to the police to proceed with a civil law claim.
