Emily has worked in the Legal Costs sector since January 2024. She is a Law Costs Draftsman in our Costs department.  

Emily graduated with an LLB Hons degree from Newcastle University in 2023. Since then she has gained significant experience in legal costs and specialises in:

• Inter partes costs recovery in personal injury, child abuse and clinical negligence claims
• Preparation of Bills of Costs and Costs Negotiations

APPROACH

Emily is a thorough and pro-active member of the Costs team. She continues to develop her legal skills and costs knowledge through a varied case load of personal injury, child abuse and clinical negligence costs recovery proceedings.

EXPERIENCE

Emily was extensively involved in costs recovery claims against Lambeth Council arising from the Lambeth Children’s Home Redress Scheme.
