Emelia is a domestic abuse and childcare solicitor based in the Switalskis York office. Emelia is dedicated to providing effective, compassionate and honest legal advice, and support to parents and domestic abuse survivors.

• Representing parents whose children are made subject of care proceedings by the Local Authority
• Representing parents in Public Law Outline (PLO) meetings
• Securing injunctions, including non-molestation orders and occupation orders
• Parental disputes about child arrangements,  including Prohibited Steps Orders and Specific Issue Orders
• Assessing and applying for legal aid for clients
