Alistair is a residential conveyancing solicitor and is deputy head of the residential property department.
Alistair specialises in a number of residential conveyancing areas including:
- Freehold and leasehold sales and purchases
- Bridging Finance transactions involving purchases and refinancing
- Transfers of Equity
- Remortgages
- Unregistered titles
- Portfolio acquisitions for investors and property traders
As deputy head, Alistair is also involved in the training, development and mentoring of colleagues and in the strategic planning and growth of the department, working alongside Sarah Cookson and Ed Atkin.

Alistair acts calmly and professionally, guiding clients through the conveyancing process, with support and explanation at all stages.
He is proud of the trust clients place in him and of the fact that clients, estate agents, mortgage brokers and accountants come back to him and frequently recommend him to their friends and families, having appreciated his clear and concise advice and approachability.
EXPERIENCE
Alistair has been a member of the Law Society’s Conveyancing Quality Scheme (CQS) Technical Panel, during which time he helped guide and shape policy nationally on the residential conveyancing process, liaising with other law firms and lenders to establish best practice for the profession as a whole.
