Switalskis has appointed experienced conveyancer, Paula Mayfield, as deputy head of its specialist new build conveyancing team.

Paula has spent over 25 years specialising in residential conveyancing across West and South Yorkshire. During that time, she has built an outstanding reputation for leading high-performing teams, including experience of establishing a new build conveyancing department, across roles based in Leeds, Wakefield and Sheffield.

She joins Switalskis’ ten-strong new build conveyancing team, supporting the buyers of brand new homes from housebuilders. The team manages the fast-paced and often complex process of new build transactions, involving tight timescales for exchange of contracts and legal completions, reviewing complex developer titles, detailed contracts and financial arrangements which are specific to the sector.
