Tori mostly work alongside Directors Ranjit Uppal and Ruth Coneron in the Huddersfield Care team. Her role is often client facing, attending PLO meetings, meeting clients to consider and explain important court documents and take their instructions in order that their views can be heard in court statements.
Tori interacts with clients both in person and over the telephone. She also often attends Court with Counsel to assist and provide a familiar face for the clients Switalskis represent in care proceedings.

Tori joined Switalskis in January 2018. She initially joined as an Admin Assistant after completing a Masters in History. Tori then moved to our Child Care department in September 2018.

A: Every single case is different so no two days are the same and you are constantly learning from these new experiences.
A: A sympathetic and approachable manner. Court proceedings can often be confusing and stressful and I aim to try ease client’s worries and explain things in a way that does not rely on legal jargon so clients can really understand what is happening.
A: It is a vital area of law which has a real effect on people’s lives.
A: I enjoy attending music events, walking and travelling.
