Lorna specialises in Public Law Children Act proceedings representing both parents and children. Her wide-ranging experience includes cases involving:

• Serious inflicted injuries
• Emotional abuse and chronic neglect
• Acting for vulnerable parents with mental health issues and/or drug and alcohol addiction
• Acting for teenage mothers or fathers who have been or are currently looked after children themselves
• Cases involving children who are deprived of their liberty under the Inherent Jurisdiction or are in secure accommodation
• Cases with a foreign element

Lorna has been a member of the Law Society Children Panel for over 25 years.  She is a Higher Court Advocate and has recently completed the Law Society Approved Vulnerable Witness training.
