More about Kay

We asked Kay:

What can clients expect from you?

I am empathic and supportive, and passionate about supporting my clients, who are often living very difficult lives, with profoundly injured children or who are catastrophically injured themselves, not only to a successful conclusion, but on their road to recovery with the support and help they need for a better future.

My extensive clinical experience as a former midwife gives me great insight into the often traumatic experiences of my clients and enables me to undertake a forensic analysis of the medical evidence and employ strategies to maximise prospects of a case succeeding.

I am dedicated not only to my clients but also to my team and colleagues. I am a determined Litigator and very team focused, supporting junior members and drawing in the strengths and experience of the whole team, to ensure the client’s journey is a very positive one, and there is personal and professional satisfaction across the team in bringing a client’s case to conclusion.

What do you love about your job?

I gain as much personal and professional reward in supporting my clients at a time when they are vulnerable and need help, as I did when I worked as a midwife supporting women antenatally and through labour and delivery.

What are your interests outside work?

I am a keen walker, avid reader, and a singer in a band.
