Clare is a highly-experienced Family Law specialist and as a director she oversees the growth and development of our Family Law team and services across all of our offices. Clare has particular expertise in dealing with complex financial matters resulting from a relationship breakdown or divorce. She is also experienced in child law matters, including residence and contact issues following divorce, and adoption.

Clare qualified as a solicitor in 1993 and has specialised in Family Law ever since. She joined Switalskis in 2007 following our takeover of her previous employer’s Legal Aid Family Law practice. In 2012, Clare became a partner of the firm and is now a director.

A: I jointly head up the Family Law department with Bradford-based Family Solicitor Razia Jogi. As a Solicitor specialising in Family Law, I conduct family cases, especially matters relating to people’s finances.
A: The variety of people with whom I come into contact.

A: I can do maths, which most lawyers can’t!
A: Olympic 1500 metres champion.
A: Running every step of the London Marathon when my running club said I would never finish it.
A: Everything, especially athletics, cycling and rugby league. I even went to a European Cup Semi final on the first night of my honeymoon, not many women are that lucky!
