With effect from 5.00pm on Monday 23rd March, all Switalskis offices will be closed to staff and visitors. However, you can still contact our staff via all other channels such as telephone and email. We remain on hand to help you and have taken significant steps to ensure that you still receive the service and expertise you need.
The decision has been taken to help prevent the spread of COVID-19. We continue to follow Government advice and at all times we look to balance our duties towards the wider public and our staff with our need to provide important services to our clients.
All staff and offices can still be contacted during our usual office hours. Most staff are working remotely, with full access to email and all other systems. All contact numbers – including main switchboard numbers – will continue to operate as normal.
How to contact us during the office closure.
Simply get in touch with your usual Switalskis contact as you normally would, via email or telephone. If any staff are not working for any reason, we will ensure that out-of-office replies are in place to advise of alternative contact details.
For some services, we will continue to offer 24-hour, confidential helplines. Those services are as follows:
- For advice if you are under arrest at the Police Station: 07850 582427
- For advice on domestic abuse or forced marriage: 0800 138 5536
- For our Child Care Law team: 0808 2084615
- For our Mental Health Law and Court of Protection teams: 07715 711183
How long will the closure last?
Understandably, at this stage we can’t say when our offices will re-open for staff and clients. We will continue to follow Government advice and will open our offices again when we feel that it is safe and responsible to do so.
Remember – we are still here to provide the professional service you need to help you progress your legal matters. We hope that you remain healthy and safe throughout and look forward to hearing from you if we can help in any way.
