Legal Executive, Sian Morris is set to take on the challenge of a lifetime to raise money for Switalskis Solicitors chosen charity – the Children’s Heart Surgery Fund.
Sian is taking on one of Britain’s greatest cycling challenges and will be cycling from London to Edinburgh…and back! The route is a total distance of 1433km, has 11,128 metres of climbing and passes through some incredible scenery. It takes in the fens of Cambridgeshire and Lincolnshire, plus tough climbs in the Pennines and Scottish Lowlands.
She will begin her gruelling ride at 9.15am on Sunday 30 July and return on Friday 4 August. What makes her challenge even more remarkable is that Sian only took up cycling 3 ½ years ago. In her words she’s “caught the cycling bug”!
This will be the furthest she’s ever ridden. Last year she completed a 24 hour, non-stop cycle ride from Newcastle to London in aid of Macmillan Cancer Support.
“I’m delighted to be doing the cycle this year to raise money for the Children’s Heart Surgery Fund. I was keen to support a Yorkshire-based charity, and having visited Leeds General Infirmary I was bowled over by the numbers of children they care for.”
