A: I am a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Legal Executives and an Associate working within the Family Law department at our head office in Wakefield. As a Family lawyer I provide advice and representation to people going through a relationship breakdown, particularly those affected by domestic violence.
A: Everything! Being able to help clients who are in difficult situations and don’t know where to turn can be extremely rewarding.
A: They can expect a no nonsense approach to dealing with matters. I will always provide an honest opinion as to how a case is progressing so that they can have a realistic idea of what to expect.
A: I deal with many aspects of Family law. I specialise in cases involving children. I also have particular experience advising people who have suffered domestic violence. I also deal with divorce and settlement of financial matters arising out of relationship breakdown.
A: I have always wanted to work in Family Law from the time that I started my studies. I have worked within Family Law for over 15 years.
A: I am most proud of helping to raise over £100,000 for the Children’s Liver Disease Foundation and Children’s Heart Surgery Fund which has included taking part in extreme fund raising activities such as a 15,000 feet skydive.
A: I train with ex-military which I thoroughly enjoy and attend a local gym. It is hard work keeping fit but the sense of achievement is immense!
A: My favourite sport is Rugby League. I have many friends involved in the sport professionally. My favourite team is Wakefield Trinity.
A: I have been involved in many fund raising activities over the last few years helping to raise vital funds for CLDF, CHSF and raising money to provide toys and equipment for poorly children on the Children’s Liver Ward at LGI. Such events have included the Skydive (which I can highly recommend for an adrenaline rush), walking the 3 peaks and 3 Charity Balls. All events have been hugely successful in raising awareness and much vital funds.
