Gillian gained her law degree in 1997, and has worked in personal injury since 2000. She has significant experience of disputed and complex litigated claims.

Gillian has dealt with a wide variety of cases including: 

• Industrial diseases including HAVS, asbestosis, and other respiratory illnesses
• Occupational illness including back injuries
• Disputed and litigated road traffic accidents
• Disputed and litigated occupiers' liability
• Disputed and litigated employers' liability

Alongside Gillian’s fee earning role she has over 10 years’ experience in management and supervision of others and has also been heavily involved in setting up teams, creation of workflows and systems.

Gillian has significant knowledge and experience of the costs changes in the personal injury arena including the RTA fixed costs scheme in 2003, the RTA portal in 2010, and the extensions of the portals in 2013.

Since 2021 Gillian has specialised in a multi-track caseload of litigated occupational illness and disease work.

Gillian is a member of the Association of Personal Injury Lawyers, with accredited status as a Senior Litigator.
