Notable Cases: ■ DXP v Lewisham & Greenwich NHS Trust – Record breaking interim payments in birth injury cerebral palsy case of utmost severity. Claimant awarded final damages of £10 million. ■AXM v Homerton University Hospitals NHS Trust – Child awarded £12 million damages for severe brain injury due to avoidable hypoglycemia shortly after his birth. ■AS v Central Manchester Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust – £3.65 million settlement on doors of court in birth injury case.
