More about Amanda
We asked Amanda: Q: What does your job involve? Q: What can clients expect from you? Q: Why did you choose to specialise in this area of law? Q: What are your interests outside of work?
A: Advising and preparing Wills, Powers of Attorney and Deputyships. Alongside this, I assist executors following a bereavement, helping them to secure Grant of Probate and administering the estate of the person who has died.
A: A calm, knowledgeable and reassuring presence to assist at what is often a difficult time.
A: I used to specialise in Family Law, but I started developing experience in the area of Wills and Probate. This led to me concentrating on this area, which I have found to be both challenging and stimulating.
A: I am a Trustee Board Member of Bradford and Airedale Citizens Advice Bureau. I also enjoy fell walking in the UK and abroad. I have climbed Kilimanjaro, Mount Kenya and have trekked to Everest Base camp in Nepal.
