First-Class client care backed by Professional Accreditations
Many things have changed since we were founded in 1993, but our focus on providing first-class client care remains at the heart of the business. It's important that potential clients know what to expect from us and are confident that we have the knowledge, skills and experience to help them with the specific legal matter they need to resolve.
It's always satisfying to see external recognition of our hard work and professionalism, but more importantly these achievements and accreditations give peace of mind to our clients. All of the following achievements are based on detailed, impartial assessments of the business and our processes and can be relied upon to give a true picture of the service we give to clients.
The Lexcel Quality Mark was introduced by the Law Society in 1998 to give peace of mind to clients that law firms manage their practices effectively and provide a high quality of client care.
As a Lexcel accredited firm we have clear written procedures for all of the key aspects of the management of our practice. Our processes have been independently assessed to ensure that we comply with Lexcel standards.
The Legal 500 UK Rankings are visited by over four million users each year. They are designed to provide those looking to buy legal services with up-to-date, impartial information about the knowledge and experience of law firms and individual lawyers.
In 2019, we were again recognised as a 'Leading Firm' with a number of our lawyers achieving 'Recommended Lawyer' status in their own right. These rankings are the result of detailed, impartial research including interviews with clients and fellow legal professionals.
Chambers & Partners
The Chambers & Partners Guide to Leading UK Lawyers covers 50 geographical regions throughout the UK and a number of different legal specialisms. In 2019 we again achieved 'Top Ranked' status with particular recognition for our Medical Negligence, Criminal Law, Court of Protection and Mental Health teams.
The Law Society
The Law Society is the independent professional body for solicitors and legal professionals in England and Wales. Part of their remit is to help the public find suitable legal representation. For certain specialist areas of law, they award specific accreditations to recognise the knowledge and experience of firms and their individuals.
Their non-confrontational approach is in line with the direction that many families are choosing to take, especially when a divorce involves children.
The Society of Estates and Trust Practitioners (STEP) is a global professional association for legal professionals specialising in family inheritance and succession planning. They share best practices in these areas to help improve the services offered by their members.
A number of our Wills and Probate team hold 'TEP' status with STEP, which is an internationally-recognised accreditation.
