Yesterday we welcomed Neil Allen to the MCA Webinar Series 2021. Neil is a Barrister at 39 Essex Chambers and a Senior Lecturer at the University of Manchester. He has spoken several times at our annual conferences and is always a popular speaker. This year, Neil kindly agreed to join us on a webinar to provide a LiPS update (Liberty Protection Safeguards).

We received excellent feedback on the day and if you weren’t able to view the webinar live, you can now see a recording, and also download a copy of Neil’s slides below. We received some excellent questions from attendees, which Neil addresses towards the end of the webinar.

More about the MCA Webinar Series 2021

Our ‘Annual Review of the Mental Capacity Act’ conference has grown in popularity in recent years and normally attracts over 300 attendees. Due to the pandemic, we were unable to hold a 2020 event and decided to hold this webinar series for 2021. Our aim is to bring you the same great content from some of the leading minds in Mental Capacity Law, in a safe and appropriate format.

We hope to return to holding live conferences again in future but we’re very aware that webinars have grown rapidly in the last year or so. In the future I think it’s more than likely that we will run live events and webinars to share this specialist knowledge across a range of formats.

If you’d like to receive email updates about our events, webinars and training for Mental Capacity Law specialists, you can sign up here.
