On Friday we were delighted to welcome Lorraine Cavanagh QC as a speaker on the MCA Webinar Series 2021. Lorraine – a Barrister with St. John’s Buildings – provided attendees with an update on Serious Medical Treatment cases. We received lots of very positive feedback and comments from those attending the webinar and we’re very grateful to Lorraine for being so generous with her time.

If you couldn’t attend the live webinar, you can now download a copy of the slides and see a video of the full presentation below.

More about the MCA Webinar Series 2021

Our ‘Annual Review of the Mental Capacity Act’ conference has grown in popularity in recent years and normally attracts over 300 attendees. Due to the pandemic, we were unable to hold a 2020 event and decided to hold this webinar series for 2021. Our aim is to bring you the same great content from some of the leading minds in Mental Capacity Law, in a safe and appropriate format.

We hope to return to holding live conferences again in future but we’re very aware that webinars have grown rapidly in the last year or so. In the future I think it’s more than likely that we will run live events and webinars to share this specialist knowledge across a range of formats.

If you’d like to receive email updates about our events, webinars and training for Mental Capacity Law specialists, you can sign up here.
