Job Vacancy - Conveyancing Paralegal, Knaresborough

New opportunity at our Knaresborough office

We have a vacancy for an experienced conveyancing paralegal to join the expanding team at our Knaresborough office.

The individual will work alongside experienced residential Solicitors and under the direct supervision of Director in Charge of the department, Sarah Cookson, doing high volume work with a varied caseload of local and national work.

This is a permanent full time role.

About the Role

Candidates must have a minimum of 12 months solid residential conveyancing experience, working as a conveyancing paralegal or legal assistant in a busy environment enabling them to assist with, and run basic sale and re-mortgage files from start to finish.

They should be able to demonstrate previous experience and sound technical knowledge. Transactions will include dealing with both freehold and leasehold sales, for purchase and re-mortgage transactions.

Candidates should be able to confidently handle exchanges and completions and have a good working knowledge of conveyancing practices generally including ID, Money Laundering and CQS.

Candidates should be proactive and be able to use their own initiative to enable them to deal with clients and third parties confidently and have excellent IT skills.

This role would suit an ambitious and hardworking individual.
