Witness Appeal: Deborah Frank, Radlett Preparatory School

Switalskis’ are appealing for witnesses following the recent conviction of Deborah Franklin who was a teacher at Radlett Preparatory School.
Deborah Franklin who is now 65 years old continued to work as a teacher at the school for decades until the recent criminal investigation.
Deborah Franklin sexually abused our client in 1990’s beginning when he was just 9 years old. At the time, she was in her 30’s.
Deborah Franklin was convicted at St Albans Crown Court for 8 counts of gross indecency in July 2026 and is due to be sentenced on 1st October 2026.
We are appealing for any witnesses who may be able to assist with our client’s claim or who suffered similar experiences whilst at Radlett Preparatory School.
Franklin groomed our client to believe they were in a relationship, to prevent disclosure. The culture at the time of the abuse was not to speak out, especially against those in a position of trust which prevented our client from disclosing for decades.
