Laura undertakes all areas of work in the child care department including:
- Representing children
- Acting as agent to local authorities
- Representing parents
Laura is a Chartered Legal Executive Advocate. She is also a member of the Law Society’s Children’s Panel.
While working as an in-house local authority lawyer, Laura won the In-House Lawyer of the Year award at the Yorkshire Legal Awards.
APPROACH
Laura is an approachable advocate who will listen and advise on legal matters in a clear and understandable way. She’s always keen to ensure that everyone that she advises, assists and signposts to any alternative agencies, understand the proceedings which can be extremely emotive for the family.
