An independent report into child sexual exploitation in Telford has been published today.

The report finds failings by the authorities in Telford in protecting vulnerable young women in the town, victim-blaming and inadequate or no action being taken against perpetrators of abuse. Many similar reports over the last few years in towns and cities across the country have found such failings. The handling of child sexual exploitation has been a national issue for many years and this report confirms that Telford is no different.

The full report can be found here https://www.iitcse.com/documents/chairs-final-report
