We asked Shelley:
Q: What does your job involve?
A: I provide legal advice and assistance on all aspects of Family Law including domestic violence issues and disputes regarding children. I have particular experience in dealing with Non-Molestation Orders and Child Arrangements Orders.
Q: What do you enjoy most about your job?
I love most things about my job, but assisting families or individuals to achieve a positive outcome when they are facing difficult and uncertain times is definitely one of the highlights. Children-related disputes are always interesting to deal with, and helping a family to reach an agreement is very rewarding.
Q: What can clients expect from you?
A friendly and relaxed approach to client meetings, as I want my clients to feel that they can discuss their issues without judgement. I like to think that I am a good listener, and I will always give honest advice.
Q: What are your interests outside of work?
A: I love reading, swimming and spending time with my family and friends. I also try to get involved with charitable events and in April 2016 I completed a 10k Legal Walk in York.
