We asked Sarah:
Q: What do you do in your role at Switalskis?
A: I work within the Mental Health Law Department, where we advise and represent people who are detained under the Mental Health Act 1983. I am also a Duty Solicitor undertaking Criminal Defence work in the Magistrates Court and Police Station.
Q: What do you enjoy about your job?
A: I love the varied nature of the work – I work with people who are detained in a range of settings. It’s rewarding when we can help a client who has made progress in hospital to move back into the community.
Q: What can clients expect from you?
A: a professional, calm, efficient service along with practical advice.
Q: What do your clients like about you?
A: That I am always honest with my advice and give a true assessment of my clients’ cases.
