Sadie Simpson is a Solicitor in the Clinical Negligence team based in Sheffield.
Sadie joined Switalskis’ Sheffield team in January 2018 and qualified as a Solicitor in August 2016. As a Solicitor in the Clinical Negligence department, Sadie deals with the day-to-day conduct of a range of medical negligence claims. An approachable and efficient legal professional, Sadie handles all cases with empathy and understanding.

Q: What do you enjoy about your job?
A: Helping my clients find answers to questions they have regarding their care or a loved one’s care.
Q: Why did you choose to specialise in Clinical Negligence?
A: Every day is different and challenging. I have a keen interest in understanding the medical aspects of the cases that I work on and I have had opportunities to learn from leading medical experts.
Q: What are your interests outside of work?
A: I have applied to be a Trustee of the Sheffield Carer Centre and am due to begin my role in the summer. I also work as a helpline volunteer for AvMA (Actions against Medical Accidents).
Outside of professional life, I love to travel the world visit new places. I spent a year after I qualified living in Australia and travelled around the country. After that I travelled to New Zealand, Bali, Thailand and Vietnam. I also enjoy keeping fit, and in particular swimming.
