Rachel Alderson is based in Huddersfield and is part of our Medical Negligence team
Rachel Alderson is a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Legal Executives and works closely with Head of Department, Suzanne Munroe, helping clients to pursue compensation claims in cases where medical negligence has caused injury.
Rachel joined Switalskis in 2007 as a paralegal in the Family Law team, later gaining her qualification as a Legal Executive in 2011 and moving into the Clinical Negligence team in 2013.
We asked Rachel:
Q: What do you do in your role at Switalskis?
A: Acting for clients pursuing complex medical negligence claims, including brain injury and birth injury claims, alongside Suzanne Munroe.
Q: What do you love about your job?
A: Negligent medical treatment can have a significant impact on people’s lives. I enjoy being able to help people who have suffered injury when treatment has gone wrong to secure a settlement which can improve the quality of their lives.
Q: What are your ambitions?
A: To keep improving my knowledge within the complex area of Clinical Negligence and become an experienced lawyer!
Q: What are you interests outside work?
A: I enjoy keeping active, especially walking. I also love reading, going to the cinema, and attending concerts.
