Lynn Melia is based in Rochdale and works in Lancashire and North West England
Lynn has worked in the Mental Health Law field for more than 20 years, specialising exclusively in this area for the past thirteen years. She has been a member of the Law Society Mental Health Tribunal Panel from its inception.
Lynn regularly advises and represents clients at hospitals across the North of England at hearings and appeals, and has experience of a wide range of civil and forensic cases.
She has also provided training to medical professionals on the Mental Health Act 2007.

Q: How long have you worked in the legal profession?
A: About 30 yrs
Q: What do you do in your role at Switalskis?
A: Represent vulnerable individuals in hearings at the Mental Health tribunal.
Q: What do you enjoy most about your job?
A: Meeting different people.
Q: What can clients expect from you?
A: An efficient and caring service. I try to relate to my clients and the problems they are going through.
Q: What are your ambitions?
A: To deal with each case as if it is the most important one.
Q: What are you interests outside of work?
A: I enjoy walking and I am also a Trustee of mental health Charity, Start In Salford.
