Louise Davis is a Specialist Legal Clerk based in Pontefract.
As a member of Switalskis Wills and Probate team, Louise provides straightforward and practical advice on will writing, Lasting Power of Attorney and administration of estates.Louise joined the Wills and Probate team following the firm’s merger with Green Williamson and Moxons Solicitors in 2012. She began her legal career at Moxons Solicitors in 1995 where she joined as a Legal Secretary in the Wills and Probate department and has practiced as a Legal Clerk since 2005.In July 2015 Louise completed her training in Wills, Probate and Administration qualifying as a Specialist Paralegal.
We asked Louise:
Q: What do you do in you role as a Wills Clerk?
A: Meeting with clients face-to-face, as well as providing regular contact over the phone, to help them to get their affairs in order. As a member of the Wills and Probate team, I can deal with a range of legal matters, assisting clients to make or amend a will, set up a Lasting Power of Attorney or deal with the administration of an estate following the death of a loved one.
Q: What do you love about your job?
A: That every day is different. I enjoy meeting new people and helping my clients through what can sometimes be difficult and stressful situations.
Q: What can clients expect from you?
A: Practical and trustworthy advice delivered in a professional and efficient manner. I am approachable and I try to explain things in a way that is easy to understand.
Q: What are your interests outside of work?
A: Gardening, reading and DIY.
