We asked June:
Q: What do you enjoy most about your job?
A: I enjoy going to court, and will do my best in every case to secure a positive outcome for my clients. In addition, I relish the opportunity to form strong working relationships within my job, with other Child Care Lawyers but also with the guardians of the children who I represent.
Q:What do your clients like about you?
A: I think clients appreciate my honest approach and realistic legal advice. This is alongside my desire to do everything within my power to secure the best possible outcome.
Q: Why did you choose to specialise in Child Care Law?
A: Before joining the legal profession I was a qualified social worker and my interest in specialising in Child Care Law developed from there.
Q: What aspect of Child Care Law do you find most interesting?
A: I have a special interest in cases where there are serious and complicated medical and factual issues to resolve.
Q: What are your interests outside of work?
A: I enjoy life with my family, going to the cinema and other outings. If I have any spare time I like to go to the gym and sometimes mountain bike riding.
