We asked Julie:
Q: What do you enjoy most about your job?
A: As a friendly and empathetic person, I enjoy meeting those who have suffered brain injury and their families and knowing that I can use my personal and legal skills to help with the rehabilitation process to ensure a better future for our clients.
Q: What aspect of this area of law do you find most interesting?
A: I enjoy organising the large amounts of evidence produced in brain injury cases into a detailed whole, and then seeing the case come to a conclusion in favour of our clients.
Q: What do you do in your spare time?
A: In my spare time I enjoy spending time with my family – I have two children, so I support them in their activities, including chaperoning at my daughter’s ballet shows. I am also Secretary of Headway Yorkshire East Coast, a branch of the national brain injury association, running events and providing support in Scarborough and the surrounding areas.
