The National Crime Agency yesterday announced that a further 5 men have been arrested for their involvement in child sexual exploitation (CSE) in Rotherham, South Yorkshire. The 5 men, who are now aged between 28 and 31, are alleged to have raped a 12 year old girl in 2007.

These arrests have been made under Operation Stovewood which is investigating CSE and abuse in Rotherham between 1997 and 2013. So far more than 260 suspects have been identified under what is said to be the largest investigation into non-familial child abuse in the country.

Switalskis represent more than 80 women who were abused in Rotherham as children during this period.
