Wakefield Community Legal Advice Service opens

Wakefield's new Community Legal Advice Service opens today, bringing together a wide range of advice services under one roof. The new service will provide a full range of general advice and information, plus specialist advice in debt, welfare benefits, housing, employment, community care and family law.
Switalskis will be working in partnership with Wakefield District CAB to deliver the new service from the CAB's offices in King Street, Wakefield (shown in the map below), and from advice clinics at locations in Pontefract, Hemsworth and Castleford.

Wakefield District residents will be able to access the service at King Street Monday-Friday from 9am - 5pm, and until 8pm on Tuesday evenings.
The King Street office will also open between 9am and 12 noon on the first Saturday of each month.
