Jim Gladman is based in Wakefield, but advises and represents clients all over the Yorkshire region.
Jim joined Switalskis in January 2010. He has represented clients in personal injury claims for over 20 years and in clinical (medical) negligence claims for over 10 years.
He is recognised as a specialist in clinical negligence cliams by the patient charity Action against Medical Acccidents (AvMA). He is also accredited by the Association of Personal Injury Lawyers (APIL) as a Senior Litigator.
The expertise and experience of Jim and the rest of the Switalskis Medical Negligence Team has been recognised by Legal 500, the well-known guide to the legal profession, and the team will appear in the 2011 edition.
Jim takes the lead in ensuring medical negligence clients receive a joined-up and personally tailored service, often working with other Switalskis departments including Mental Health, Court of Protection and Community Care, in cases where clients may require additional help and advice either during or at the conclusion of their medical negligence claim.
In addition to working with clients on medical negligence claims, Jim acts for clients in claims against other solicitors in cases where there is a claim of professional negligence in the conduct of personal injury and clinical negligence claims. He is a member of the Professional Negligence Lawyers Association.
