Our team of criminal lawyers includes six Solicitors who hold Higher Rights of Audience. These Solicitors, known as Solicitor Advocates, or Higher Court Advocates, are qualified to represent clients in Courts at all levels, and can fulfil the role usually undertaken by a Barrister. This means that we can often offer clients a reassuring continuity of service, even in cases that are heard by the Crown or higher Courts.
The Solicitor Advocates in our criminal law department actively use their Higher Rights, and have secured successful outcomes for clients in Crown Courts and the Court of Appeal.
